Bell Techlogix Achieves Microsoft Partner Gold Status

Bell Techlogix was awarded Microsoft Gold Partner Status for Volume Licensing under the new enhanced Microsoft Partner Program at its first quarter 2011 renewal date. This continues a 10 year run as a Microsoft Gold Partner. Bell Techlogix is one of two Academic Only Large Account Resellers (LAR) authorized by Microsoft and delivers volume licensing solutions to hundreds of academic clients accounting for over $20 million in annual revenue. Gold Licensing certification training is based on Microsoft commercial volume license programs enabling Bell’s certified licensing specialists to assist not only their academic clients but small to medium businesses looking for the best Microsoft licensing solution for their organization.

The Microsoft Partner Network made major changes in its Partner Program certification requirements effective July 2010 becoming effective at the Partner’s next renewal anniversary. Microsoft’s new Partner Program shifts the emphasis from the number of partner certifications an organization holds to a competency based program rewarding the partner’s ability to drive awareness and address specific customer demands around 29 different Microsoft competencies. This major change brought updated certification requirements to Microsoft’s technical and sales certification programs.
